Cantine Santa Benedetta is a small family business in which the entire production cycle is carried out. Hundreds of years ago we started by planting our vineyards, we cultivated them, we still harvest their fruits: this is how our grapes become wine! Here, in this land, wine has been produced for 3000 years. The wine of Rome. The tradition brings us back to the production of white wine. For more than 40 years we have been producing red grape varieties, also in this case we do not consider our work to be a job, but a challenge: to produce the best possible wine every year

White Wines

Bellone and Malvasia Puntinata

Our native Bellone and Malvasia Puntinata vines are characterized by a low yield per hectare and their intrinsic delicate nature. Easily subject to disease, they need continuous care and attention. However, their scents, the bright light brought by the berries and the taste that fills the glass continue to convince us every year that these vines are indispensable to producing a great wine: unique of its kind, witness to the great tradition that we want to bequeath to our children!

Red wines

Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese

Although traditionally in an area of white wines we wanted to discover what this land could give us back using red grape varieties: the results were excellent. Since there are historically no indigenous red grape varieties, compared to white wines, we decided to take a different path.

In this case as well, the company philosophy has been established favoring very low production varieties that give off nobility of sensations: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese.

Extra virgin olive oil

Santa Benedetta extra virgin olive oil has centuries of tradition and history, which have made it famous throughout the world. The quantity produced is limited in relation to the respect of seasonal trends. We detach the drupes exclusively by hand from the tree, we select the olives healthy, fresh, not fully ripe, using an ideal method to not alter the valuable physical, chemical and organoleptic characteristics.
